The PT-02 permanent is a 200K brevet specially designed for people who love to ride quiet, but good quality country roads, passing through quaint towns. The setting is the central part of Gyeongsang Buk-do province where the landscape is dominated by rolling hills with majestic mountain ranges in the distance on the horizon. This area is buzzing with agricultural activity, mainly focussed on the production of fruits and vegetables. But before this all, the ride starts with a some climbs, culminating in the Hanti Pass, reaching an elevation of 725 meters above sea level. The first control is on top of the pass. More climbing with beautiful scenery follows after control 3, but in contrast to the start the last part of the route is easy going, following the Nakdong River bike trail back to Waegwan.
