Regulations
Riders must obey Korean traffic rules. They must also comply with the rules below, as they are the ACP standard.
'Permanent' refers to a brevet that can be ridden on a date chosen by the participant.
The riding distance, time limits, controls, brevet card, and completion certificate are similar to those of regular brevets. Digital information such as GPS files, Google Maps, and full course maps can be used in the same way. Permanent courses are mainly designed by passionate randonneurs, but course supervision is managed by Korea Randonneurs.
Permanents can be done individually or in groups. Those who are new to Korea Randonneurs events through permanents must be familiar not only with the rules of permanents but also with the existing brevet regulations.
Participants may start at any control on a permanent course, but this only applies to loop courses where the start and finish points are the same.

Rules
The same rules regarding safety and night riding apply, along with the obligation to have appropriate accident insurance.
Participants must be members of Korea Randonneurs. If needed, they can register through the online site.
- Permanents are not approved by ACP, so completing a Permanent does not count toward Super Randonneur qualification. However, they do count toward the KR5000 award and R12 award.
- Distances longer than the official brevets (200, 300, 400, 600, 1000 km) can be designed, and only the listed distances are added to the individual total mileage record.
- The time limit is calculated based on the actual distance at an average speed of 15km/h, starting from the approved start time. Example: If you apply to start a 204km Permanent course at 7:10 AM, the time limit is 13 hours and 36 minutes. You must send the arrival photo before 8:46 PM.
- The validity period of the applied Permanent is 1 year. Refunds or changes to a regular brevet are not allowed.
- A standard cue sheet is not provided.
- Bike inspection at the start point is not conducted by Korea Randonneurs, but participants must conduct their own inspection according to the rules.
All brevet rules, including those listed on the FAQ page, apply equally.
Feedback and suggestions from participants, as well as notices about route changes due to roadworks or closures, are always welcome. Also, if you have a proposal for a new Permanent course, feel free to share it.
