Vector
Information about Indoor Brevets.

Dust off your fans and grab your towels. Korea Randonneurs organizes IC (Indoor Cycling) brevets every off-season, during the cold winter, and hot summer months. These virtual rides take place on Zwift and are considered permanents and count toward club kilometers and R12.
The limit for a 200 km indoor brevet is 12 hours. Events start on Saturdays at 8:00, it is strongly advised that riders are present latest 07:50 - 10 minutes in advance.

Registration
Korea Randonneurs Registration
Register for a Vector event in your online member environment, just like for a regular brevet. After, use the Zwift Meetup participation method to join the event. Applicants will receive an instructions email within two days after application.
Zwift Meetup registration
All steps below are required - you will be invited using your KORA member number. Carefully read the instructions and follow them exactly. Registered riders will be invited 7 days in advance.
1. Add 'KORA' and your Korea Randonneurs membership number to your last name on your Zwift profile:
- Download the Zwift Companion App from the Google or Apple Store and login with your Zwift ID and password.
- Click your photo or name at the top of the Companion App and click the pencil-shaped edit button on the top right and add your KORA member number to your last name: E.g. 'Bas Kragt KORA13440'.
2. Follow the host: add friend
After completing step 1, touch the three bars on the top left of the Companion App to access the drop-down menu. Select Find Zwifters. Search for KORA320and follow (add as a friend) on Zwift.
3. Accept the Meetup Invitation
After completing step 2, you will receive a meetup invitation. Simply accept the invitation by selecting 'Going' and you are ready to participate.

Key points
- If your ID is not your own (or someone rides on behalf of someone else) it is considered cheating and will result in a DNF.
- Participation after 8:00 am sharp is not possible, so please complete all preparations and be ready in the meetup area on Zwift at least 10 minutes in advance.
- If the meetup participation button does not work even when departure is imminent, we recommend logging out and back into Zwift and reconnecting to solve the issue.
- Instructions on how to use Zwift and participate in meetups can be found through Google/Naver searches and will not be explained separately.
- The ride finish deadline is 8pm; riders must complete the ride within 12 hours. Anyone who does not finish by 8pm will be considered a DNF.
- Failure to complete the ride within the time limit due to personal roller signal loss, power outage, bugs, or other unforeseen reasons is the individual’s responsibility; Korea Randonneurs is not involved.
- Because it is a long ride, we recommend keeping your power cables plugged in at all times and disabling sleep mode (or screen off mode) for any electronic devices used for Zwifting.
- You may get off of your bike/trainer at any time for fuel and/or rest. No separate Zwift action is required.
- If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to get in touch. Ride On! - Jason Ham (KORA320).
